THE countdown is on to the start of the festive season in Loans.
This year's Light-Up Loans event will be held on Sunday, December 6 at the Loans Village Hall.
There will be a visit from Santa who will switch on the Christmas Tree lights, carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies, a raffle as well as face painting, crafts. cards, jewellery and tombola/bottle stalls. Tickets cost £2.
Donations for raffle prizes and the bottle stall would be much appreciated. These can be brought to the Hall on the Sunday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
The event runs rom 4pmt until 5.30pm on December 6 and everyone is welcome.
