A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Ayrshire and Arran.
Persistent rain is forecast for this area until Tuesday, and in addition there will be some snow-melt, from lying snow.
Small watercourses and rivers in the area are expected to respond with localised flooding of land and roads possible from early Monday there may be some surface water issues on built up areas and travel disruption.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
