ALMOST 750 people turned out in force to hunt for chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday.

There was an egg-cellent selection for the hordes of mums, dads and children who turned up to Fullarton Woods with their chocolate radars on.

Roughly 900 Easter eggs were donated by members of the community much to the delight of the 744 people who took part.

Everyone who took part in the event had a blast - but not all the eggs were found.

Around 100 chocolate eggs were left behind - which were soon rounded up and delivered to the children's ward at Crosshouse Hospital - delighting the kids who could not make it out to the woods to take part themselves.

The organisers of the Easter Egg hunt, who also are behind the Secret Santa event want to thank everyone who took part and to those who donated eggs - they made it a massive success.
