TROON police office have received 262 calls over the last month since the Troon Community Council AGM.
29 of these call outs have been in relation to poor parking but local officers would like to point out that unless vehicles are causing an obstruction they cannot resolve the problem.
Speaking at the Troon Community Council meeting on Tuesday, May 3 Inspector Alasdair Kelly, said: "It could be the community need learn how to park in order to manage this problem.
"We have got lots of calls about this and now there will be extra visits from traffic officers to address the issue."
Members of the council were also made aware that there have been six road traffic incidents in the Troon area, five assaults, six domestics as well as two complaints about the beggar outside Farm Foods. Two transit vans have also been stolen.
Inspector Kelly continued: "If folk would not leave their keys in the ignition of these vans it would help."
There have been three incidents of theft at Sawmills involving a silver van helping themselves to wood.
