A MAN from Girvan has been allegedly charged for driving three times over the limit.
The 25-year-old male was stopped by police at 2.50am on Sunday, May 8 on Girvan's North Park Avenue.
It is understood he was charged for driving a white ford van over the prescribed limit, getting behind the wheel of the vehicle with a provisional licence unsupervised and not having valid policy insurance.
He has been arrested but released on undertaking and will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court later this month.
