THE case against a man accused of shouting racist remarks at the Monkton refugee demonstration has been adjourned until later in the year.
Shafiq Mohammed, 49, from Glasgow denies hurling racist remarks at demonstrators on Monkton Main Street in November last year.
Mr Mohammed was is alleged to have acted in a racially aggravated manner by shouting racist remarks as well as resisting arrest.
The incident is alleged to have happened as protestors clashed as right-wing group The Scottish Defence League (SDL) demonstrated against Adamton
Country House Hotel opening its doors to refugees.
Mr Mohammed denies both charges and he case was adjourned until September.
