THE Story of Kayley Fulton and her partner Brian Lawrie is a heartbreaking one.

However, what can be said is their ability to bounce back is truly something to be admired.

Kayley and Brian lost their baby girl Hayden when Kayley was only 30 weeks pregnant. In a true heartbreaking moment in which people can rarely ever come close to understanding the couple decided to let their grief of the loss of their daughter make them stronger.

Their story has touched many over the last two years after Kayley and Brian raised a staggering £18175.18 for SANDS (Stillbirth and neonatal death charity) in the previous two years and aim to beat that again this time around.

However, this year's event has an even more amazing touch to it by Kayley and Brian as they have decided to donate 50% of the money raised to Tilly who was featured on a previous edition of the Ayr Advertiser.

Tilly is fighting a rare disease called - DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) which struck a chord with Kayley as she announced on Facebook that Tilly as well as SANDS would recieve some of the funds.

The event is s being held on Saturday July 30 at the Pro-Soccer Ayr, Voluntary Park, Glenmuir Place, Whitletts, Ayr, KA8 9RR between 11am and 4pm and is free entry to everyone.

Kayley commented: “We're going to split the funds 50-50 to help Tilly's family as we were touched by her story. We used to live a few doors away from Tilly's family so we know her mum and it's very heartbreaking.

We want to raise as much as we can as we are in talks with Crosshouse Maternity Unit to soundproofing the hospital for grieving families.

To be honest my partner and I first organised within 12 weeks of losing Hayden back in 2014 and we needed to do it to face things as we could've ended up in the gutter. It gave us a purpose. It helped us with the grieving process so we could talk about Hayden.

We want to invite as many as possible is this two massive causes. SANDS and Tilly.”

Kayley has encouraged many on her Facebook page to come along and get involved to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

Here will be lots on offer including bouncy castles, giant slide, inflatable disco, under 5s inflatable area, Owl Magic, Silly Gilly, Animal Man's Live Petting Zoo Show, over 30 stalls, games and raffles, kids games, adult prize bingo, beat the goalie, face-painting and glitter tattoos, live psychic show, mascots, sand art, dance performances, lots of prizes to be won.

The prizes to be won includes a tour of Ibrox Stadium, a signed Stereophonics photo and £100 worth a voucher for suit shop Slaters.
