Man due in court for selling fake Troon Open tickets
A MAN was picked up by cops after allegedly selling fraudulent tickets for The Open in Troon.
Police arrested the 29-year-old on the footpath near Royal Troon Golf Club at 8.30am on Saturday, July 16.
It is claimed he sold two photocopied tickets to duped members of the public.
He was arrested and was due to appear in court as the Advertiser went to print and there had been no further updates.
