A MAN has been arrested following an alleged robbery at the Neat Wheat Store in Ayr.
At around 9.30am on Monday, August 8 the store was targeted meaning the store had to close for a short period of time.
A 29-year-old has been remanded and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Hogg, of Ayrshire CID, commented: "We would like to thank the community for their support and assistance following this incident. Their help allowed us to swiftly bring the investigation to a positive conclusion.
"The man has now been arrested and will be held in police custody to appear at court."
