SOUTH Ayrshire's The Little School of Art has won an Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB) Young Business of the Year award 2016.
Joanne Robinson, of the school which runs classes in Ayr, Troon and Girvan, aims to deliver a highly structured art course and their charity organisation offersart classes for the lonely and vulnerable.
The awards were held in Glasgow at the Grand Central Hotel on Friday, September 2 when members of the Ayrshire Association of Business Women (AABW) triumphed as businesses from Irvine and Largs also claimed prizes.
Sarah Plant, AABW President, is delighted with the outcome.
She said: "It was an amazing night of celebration and recognition of the hard work our members put into their businesses. I felt incredibly proud of our winners and our entire membership who support each other no-end."
In their 22nd year, the AABW are Scotland's most successful networking group for business and professional women, run by a committee of volunteers.
The AABW is non-profit organisation and their aim is simple, to do all they can to help, support, encourage and promote the business interests of their members.
