TROON'S Barking Mad Doggy Day Care hosted their first ever puppy birthday party recently.
Seven pooches turned up to celebrate the first birthday of one very special pup who even got its own banner, cake and a paddling pool.
Kathryn Potten, who runs the centre, said: "I have been running the cay care centre for three years. I think puppy birthday parties are quite big in America. We might spark a trend here.
"I used to rent the back of Mucky Paws which would not have been big enough but now I have got a bigger shop I have been asked to try it.
"I do the cleaning up, people can come and use my facility and I will come and clean up afterwards."
Barking Mad Doggy Day Care acts as a puppy playgroup where dogs can spend the whole day.
