FURYS in Ayr, will be open until 3:30am on selected days this weekend after the proposal was approved by South Ayrshire Council.
The student hotspot is taking advantage of the bank holiday weekend as well as The Gold Cup Festival at Ayr Racecourse.
The proposal was heard at a licensing board meeting at South Ayrshire Council today and the plan was unanimously approved by the board members chaired by Councillor Ann Galbraith.
Cllr Galbraith said: "I have no problem approving this application."
Chief Superintendent for the area Gary I'Anson was also present and gave the Police's consent as Furys have kept the cops well informed of their plans.
Furys will be open to 3:30am tonight, Saturday and Sunday.
