POLICE in Ayr are appealing for anyone with any information on a young woman who has went missing in Ayr.

Farrah Fadli (or Gilliespie), 29, of Thornyflat Drive, Ayr, was last seen on Wednesday, October 12 at 11am by one of her friends. Farrah is described as 5ft 4inches in height, of slim build with dyed blonde hair. It is not known what clothes she was wearing at the time she went missing.

It is believed that Farrah was with her two children when she went missing, McKenzie Scullion, 10, and Eva Kerr, 4.

McKenzie is described as around 4ft 10inches, average build, with brown hair and blue eyes.  Eva Kerr is described as average height and build for her age, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Inspector Jim Hendrie, of Ayr Police Office, said: "Farrah has never gone missing before and it is believed at this time that she may have gone missing with her two children, which is very concerning.

"Whilst at this time we don't have any information that they may have come to harm, Farrah hasn't been in touch with anyone since Wednesday, which is out of character. We're continuing enquiries to trace Farrah and her children, because as time passes, we are becoming very concerned for their welfare.

"I would ask anyone who knows where Farrah is to contact police. It is imperative that we find her and her two children safe and well."

Anyone with information on Farrah, McKenzie or Eva is asked to contact police on 101.
