Three figure sum of money stolen from a car in Ayr
A THREE figure sum of money and a purse has been stolen from a black Nissan in Ayr.
It is claimed that between 3.15pm and 4pm on Saturday, October 22 a 79-year-old female parked her courtesy car at Saltpans Road to walk her dog along the beach.
The Ayr Advertiser Series understands that when she retuned the window was smashed and there was forced entry to the vehicle. Her cash was missing.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has any information to get in touch with them via the non emergency number on 101.
Alternatively they call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
