CONGRATULATIONS to the Ayrshire Hospice events team who won an Institute of Fundraising Scotland award recently.
The fundraising events team won the prestigious national award for the “Best Event or Community Fundraising Initiative” at a ceremony in Glasgow.
The teams’ inaugural Colour Dash event on Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Eglinton Park, Kilwinning, was judged to be the best event in Scotland and attracted 1152 supporters.
This was repeated on August, 7 this year moving location to Irvine Beach Park due to planned groundworks at Eglinton Park and was once again a huge success.
Tracey Corrigan, Assistant Fundraising Manager said: “We are thrilled to have been nominated and privileged to win this prestigious award.
"The event was a great family day out and the support we had from the community and our sponsors was amazing."
