MEMBERS of the Ayr, Prestwick and Troon committee for Cancer Research UK have raised £970 for the charity by taking part in a fashion show.

Lynn Arnott who owns Emporium, Ladies’ Boutique in Prestwick decided to hold a fashion show for CRUK, a charity which is very close to her heart, and members of the committee were keen to get involved

Angela McKevitt, who helped organise the event, said: "The evening was a great success and the super total of £970 was raised. Well done ladies.

"Many thanks to Lynn, Mark and staff at Caprice for excellent service, the “stunning” models and all the ladies who came along on the night to support such a well deserving charity.

"Committee members were delighted to come along on the night to support Lynn and sell raffle tickets."
