A WOMAN who shouted threats of violence outside another lady's home has been released on bail.
Erica Lawrence of Park Crescent, Ayr admitted behaving in this threatening manner on May 24, at Bellsbank Crescent in Dalmellington and during the course of a journey from there to Kilmarnock Police Office.
Lawrence also owned up to kicking a police officer on the body. The 20-year-old appeared before Sheriff Mhari Mactaggart at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Depute fiscal Scott Toal explained: "Police officers were called to the locus at 3.50am and they arrived at 4.20am. They found Lawrence outside the house.
"She told them to f**k off and that the person living there was a wh**e. Police officers attempted to take hold of her but she kicked out and kicked one of the police officers on the left leg.
"She was taken to Kilmarnock Police Office and continued to threaten officers telling them she would find out where they stayed."
Speaking on her behalf, defence solicitor Robert Logan, said: "The police ran her back home after she had calmed down. She is only 20 years of age."
Sentence has been deferred until next month to allow the court to obtain a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty assessment order.
