AFTER five long months an owner has been reunited with her beloved pet Bella.
The cat had been missing from home for five months but a client of Vets4Pets in Ayr found Bella and brought her to the store.
It was originally thought Bella was a stray but luckily she was microchipped which allowed workers to contact the owner Abbie Pollock.
Posting on their Facebook page, Vets4Pets, said: "This is Bella being reunited with her owners after being missing for nearly five months.
She was brought in by a client who thought she was a stray and was luckily microchipped. As Bella's owner Abbie said 'what a great way to start the new year'.
"All the credit goes to the lady who brought Bella in to be scanned. We'd like to say a massive thank you to her."
