A BANK machine in Troon was hit be vandal who reportedly snapped off an item in the machine and then glued over it last Wednesday afternoon.

The Royal Bank of Scotland on Ayr Street, Troon was targeted.
Police told us that the incident took place at 5pm on Wednesday, January 4. 

It is understood that locksmiths could only fix the issue on the following morning.

A police spokesperson said: “If anyone has any information on the incident or was in the area at the time please contact your local police office on 101 or if they wish to provide information anonymously the can do so by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

RBS were approached for a comment but would only say that they were co-operating with police during the investigation.

There has been no confirmation on the cost of the damage and it is understood CCTV has now been installed, although this too has not been confirmed by RBS.
