TROON might be in for a slice of the action as it has been reported that Domino’s could be on its way.

Following the opening of Costa Coffee in the town in April, we understand that there could be another big franchise setting up shop.

Domino’s Pizza, which also has a store in Ayr, is growing rapidly in Ayrshire with other premises set for other parts of Ayrshire.
Troon councillor Nan McFarlane said she welcomed any business looking to set up in Troon.

She said: “We used to have a pizza place in Templehill, not too sure if it is still there now but youngsters love pizza.

“It is a business and if it comes I would welcome it to Troon.”
Troon Business Association member Donna Read also echoed Nan’s thoughts.

She said: “Although the Troon Business Association supports independent businesses it is important to highlight that we tend to feed off the big boys whether it is Costa Coffee or possibly now Domino’s.

“There is nothing we can do to stop this, but any investment in Troon is a good thing.”

Domino’s were approached for a comment on whether they were officially coming to Troon, and when and where it would be in the town.
However, they refused to comment.
