A WOMAN has been arrested for an alleged assault on another woman in Girvan last weekend.
The incident is understood to have occurred on Sunday morning between 6.30am and 7am at Chestnut Drive.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested for an alleged assault on a 22-year-old woman.
It is also understood there were no serious injuries.
A WOMAN has also been charged after allegedly stealing two bottles of vodka from a supermarket in Girvan.
The incident is said to have take place after 8pm on Saturday, February 4 in the Co-operative store on Dalrymple Street.
A 26-year-old woman was charged for allegedly stealing two bottles of Smirnoff vodka.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A MAN in his 40s has been charged with allegedly being in possession of drugs in Ayr.
The incident took place at Viewfield Court just after 3pm on Friday.
The 45-year-old man was reported after allegedly being in possession of 37.8g of Cannabis.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
