Ayrshire WASPI`s are heading for the South Ayrshire Council meeting on Thursday, March 2.

They will be in attendance to see if the councillors will change their stance and write to the UK government in support of WASPI women.

Both North Ayrshire and East Ayrshire have already supported the motion however South took a different view and did not feel that local 1950`s born women were worth a letter.

The motion asked that the Chief Executive would write to the government in support of 1950`s born women.

Allan Dorrans who raised the motion at the council meeting in December, has been advised that he can go back to the council and can have a vote to have the last motion result lifted.

The Ayrshire WASPI`s will be there to support Allen in this new challenge.
