GREEN-conscious youngsters planted some seeds as part of a fascinating project organised by the Friends of Fullarton group.
Fullarton Woods hosted the seed-bombing event on April 2. This saw seeds being mixed with papier mache into balls so they could be thrown into an area.
Taking part were Brownies, Cub Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Girls Brigade recruits, as well as pre-schoolers from the Rainbows and Puddles groups.
There was a large turnout, and everyone enjoyed it.
Organisers have encouraged the children who took part to visit the woods and see how the seeds develop.
The Friends of Fullarton group have many other exciting things happening this year for the woodlands and really appreciate all the help from the community they have received so far.
If anyone would like to get involved with the group's forward-thinking innovative plans, contact them via their Facebook page or at www.friendsoffullarton.co.uk.
