BARR Gala Day had a ‘Scottish Heroes’ theme to it this year.
The event kicked off on Saturday, June 3 with the Auchensoul Fell Race taking place in the morning before the main events.
The Maybole Pipe Band led the parade and there were many stalls, games, activities to get involved in. There was also food and teas to enjoy as well as pets at the pot and much more.
There was wooden crafts and of course a bouncy castle which everyone enjoyed.
Ladies of the rural area decided to dress up as Scottish Land Girls of World War II to celebrate their heroic contribution to work the land and feed the nation.
