A MOSSBLOWN man, who was unemployed, can now look into a career in hospitality thanks to Diageo’s ‘Learning for Life training programme.
Christopher Letford, is just one of the thirteen students who graduated from the award winning training programme after six weeks. Prior to their course they were all out of work.
Christopher explained: “The course exceeded my expectations and has been really fulfilling and I’ve gained seven industry recognised qualifications as a result.
“The away days to the Whisky Experience (Kirkoswald) and Ayr Racecourse provided a great insight into the Scottish hospitality trade.”
The graduation marks the twelfth Diageo Learning for Life programme since November 2015 and also included local hotels and pubs including Enterkine House, Crumbs & Cocktails and Lyrics.
