A MAN has been charged for allegedly allowing his dog to bite a nine-year-old girl in Barr.
It is claimed that at 12pm on Saturday, July 29 the 26-year-old allowed the animal to run about the neighbours garden before it attacked the child.
It has not been confirmed what breed of dog is was. The Ayr Advertiser Series understands that the man has been charged for allowing the dog to be out of control.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal. As we went to press there were no updates on the situation.
