PRESTWICK Promenade celebrations swung into action at the weekend despite the weather.
Spirits were not dampened for those who attended the event and enjoyed a great day out.
Joining in the parade were the 3rd Prestwick Guide and Rangers, horse riding, and getting their faces painted.
There were various stalls to browse through including the vintage cards collection, the Buy Malcolm Sargent House stand, Prestwick rowing club and The New Life Church group also attended before Magic Malky entertained the crowds.
Organisers were pleased about the success of the event which ran on Saturday, August 13.
Commenting on their facebook page they said: “A big BIG thanks to the Prestwick Promenade Celebrations Committee what a great job guys.
“A great success and all down to you and the generosity of the good people and businesses of Prestwick.”
Visitors were also able to try their luck and ‘beat the goalie’, enjoy putting, race model boats and watch a fantastic sword display.
We can’t wait for next year’s event.
