THE Royal Aeronautical Society Prestwick branch’s 2017/18 Lecture Season begins with the return of Group Captain Jock Heron (Rtd).
His talk will consider the dilemma facing the RAF after the cancellation of TSR2, the attempt to collaborate with France on the abortive Anglo French Variable Geometry project and the urgent need to acquire a suitable aircraft to fulfil the low level, all weather strike attack role.
The meeting is on Monday, September 11 at 7:30 pm in the Aviator Suite on the 1st Floor of the Main Terminal Building, Prestwick International Airport.
All visitors are welcome and an opportunity to meet over tea or coffee will be available in the Aviator Suite during the evening.
Entry is free to students in full time education, otherwise there is an entry fee of £3 for visitors. The airport parking fee for visitors is £2.50.
