A CEILIDH will be held this Saturday at Ayr United in a bid to raise funds for Unity Grill social enterprise restaurant.

The Grill, where 100 per cent of the profits will go to challenging food poverty, will host their event from 7:30pm until midnight on Saturday, October 7 at Ayr United Hospitality Suite Somerset Park, Ayr.

Tickets cost £15.00 and those who attend will be joined by The Eclectic Ceilidh Club who will keep everyone on the dance floor for what will be amazing night.

Angela McNay the Founder of Unity Grill is really looking forward to the evening.

Speaking about the upcoming event she said:"We have been so overwhelmed by the response to Unity Grill and we are now at the final stage of the building work. Ashleigh Construction are generously on board to help with the major work that needs to be carried out on the premises.

"We are holding a fundraiser to give us extra funds towards the opening of Unity Grill".

Angela also added: "Everyone has been so generous towards the project already whether it be giving up their time to volunteer in the refit or donating to our crowd fund.

"I can't thank people enough, the community has really come together for Unity Grill. I am really excited for the evening as it gives us a chance to get dressed up and put on our party shoes for a great night."
