A MAN who threw his partner’s saxophone into the hall after hurling abuse at her has been fined £300.
Craig Maxwell of High Street, Ayr owned up to behaving in an aggressive manner towards the woman, throwing her belongings into a close and shouting obscenities at her in September.
The 37-year-old appeared before Sheriff Carole Cunninghame at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Depute Fiscal Jacob Tomnay explained: “The complainer and Maxwell were within the property drinking. The woman went to bed at 9:45pm and Maxwell continued drinking.
“At 2am the woman woke up as she could hear Maxwell shouting and swearing from the kitchen area.
“He called her a b**ch, and a w**re before taking her saxophone and throwing it into the hall. “
