TURNBERRY has been revealed as the latest place to feature in the nationwide ‘Window to Scotland’ campaign.
Joining its Ayrshire sister, Troon, Turnberry will appear in the latest designs on Edinburgh’s tram tracks for the next two years, represented by a bag of golf clubs and is paired with a similarly shaped family of meerkats, with the caption ‘from Turnberry to Blair Drummond’.
Glazing company CR Smith, who are running the campaign, said that it would ‘bring a smile to people’s faces, puzzle others and resonate with the whole of Scotland’ – and it believes that including Turnberry helps to show Scotland’s rich character.
Gerard Eadie CBE, Executive Chairman of CR Smith said: “The image of the golf clubs alongside the meerkats is very striking and we are delighted to include it in our campaign.
"We think it will raise a smile as well as showing the diverse attractions across the country.”
