A MAN is expected to reappear at court this week, charged with the murder of Ansar Shah.
Ansar Shah, then 36, was stabbed to death at a seafront car park in Ayr on October 4, 1993.
Jagtar Singh, was arrested in Frankfurt on Thursday, November 9 in connection with Mr Shah’s death and transferred to Scotland last Tuesday, November 28 where he was arrested.
Singh, 51, of Romans Sur Isere, France, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 29 but made no plea or declaration to the charge of murder.
Singh has been remanded in custody and is expected to attend court again this week.
