BREAKING: Woman's body found near Campbeltown
A BODY of a woman, believed to be missing Carol Rennie from Troon, has been found on the shore in Campbeltown.
Carol Rennie was last seen in town at around 6.50pm last Tuesday, April 10.
At 12.30pm on Monday, April 16, police were called to a report of the body of a woman having been found in the water.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however, it is believed to be Carol Rennie and her relatives have been informed.
A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course and the death is not being treated as suspicious meantime.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
