Stagecoach has given an update on their bus services following the reopening of Station Bridge Road.
The transport company has announced that services which were previously diverted due to the road closures at Station Bridge will resume their normal routes from today, December 20.
South Ayrshire Council earlier confirmed that all four lanes of traffic have reopened.
Train services from Ayr station remained closed for the time being.

Services that had been diverted included the 3, 7, 42/X42/42A, 52, 301, 302, 347, and 361.
Service 1 between Masonhill and Hayhill will continue to follow the diversion until Thursday, December 21.
Stagecoach is working quickly to update information on its live journey planner to reflect the diversion now ending and has thanked its customers for their patience.
