A CAR crash near Troon left part of the road towards Dundonald shut.
The incident happened on Old Loans Road, near to the Highgrove House Hotel, at around 4pm on January 9.
However, police say that when officers arrived at the scene, they said that there was no-one in the car.

Traffic was diverted via an alternative route for a period of time while emergency services attended the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4pm on Tuesday, 9 January, police were made aware of a one vehicle road crash on Old Loans Road, Troon.
"There was no one in the car on police arrival.
"Enquiries continue."
