A Scottish comedy veteran is bringing his hilarious brand new show to Ayr later this year.

After years of performing up and down the UK alongside giants of the UK comedy circuit, Ayrshire-born stand-up Graham Barrie is coming to Ayr’s Smoking Goat on Thursday, July 4.

‘Propranololz 3: Punk’s Not Dad’ is the latest outing from the award-winning Scottish comedy veteran, exploring whether it’s possible to be "fat, 40 and punk".

From top tips on mosh pit survival to successfully living the Sertraline dream, Punk’s Not Dad tells the story of how five days of loud music, the perfect croissant and 90,000 metalheads saved Graham's life.

A much in demand comedian and host for the past 12 years, Graham is a regular fixture at comedy clubs across the country.

Having supported hugely popular acts including Romesh Ranganathan, Glenn Wool and Mark Steel, he has gained a well-earned reputation for bringing big laughs and unforgettable moments.

Brought to you by Some Comedy Yeah!, the event will be hosted by Ian Whyte.

The show starts at 8.30pm and is non-ticketed, with a pay what you want donation at the end, so be sure to get there early to grab a good seat.
