A major road in Ayrshire is currently restricted to one lane, according to police.
Police Scotland said the A77 south of the Bellfield Interchange is currently restricted following a road traffic incident earlier today.
The A77 Northbound has 1 lane closed approximately two miles South of the Bellfield Interchange, due to a road traffic incident. Please slow down on approach. pic.twitter.com/dmjev9uu9V

The incident has apparently happened near to the B7038 road exit.
Drivers are being advised to exercise caution and slow down on approach to the closure.
