Three fire engines attended a skip fire in Ayr town centre on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to the blaze in the town's Kyle Street at around 8pm.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, with no casualties reported.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 7.59pm on Sunday, March 24, operations control mobilised three appliances to extinguish a fire affecting a skip near a dwelling on Kyle Street, Ayr.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
