Sixth year pupils from Marr College in Ayr are set to trek around Cumbrae in support of the Ayrshire Hospice.
The youngsters are embarking on their first ever S6 Legacy Day on March 28, which aims to make a difference in the community.
A hospice spokesperson said: "The students have chosen to support the Ayrshire Hospice, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the local community before they graduate.
"Engaging in such initiatives not only allows students to contribute to charitable causes but also helps in fostering social responsibility, empathy, and a passion for fundraising.
"Collaborating with Ayrshire and Arran schools is a wonderful way to promote these values and instil a sense of civic duty in young minds."
