Overnight road closures will be in place this weekend near Dundonald and the busy A78 trunk road.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance is carrying out works on A759 Kilmarnock Road near Hillhouse Quarry due to unstable bridge parapets.
The road will be closed at the quarry from April 26 to 29, between 8pm and 6am every night.
Access for emergency services, residents and deliveries outwith the working zone will be maintained via the diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via the B730, Shewalton Road, Long Drive, Moss Drive and the A78 and vice versa.
