Former cop's vile attack on couple

A SHAMED former police officer tailed his ex-mistress after another man picked her up in his car and then subjected her to a vicious assault in the middle of a village street.
And when the other driver tried to intervene, Shazhad Rafiq beat him up too.
Rafiq, 25, only stopped the attacks when other drivers came on the scene in Mossblown.
The jealous stalker was forced to resign from Strathclyde Police last year after telling a man who had threatened to commit suicide “go ahead and do it”.
