Prestwick pub gets go-ahead despite strong criticism

AFTER a 45 minute deliberation, 19 objections and four letters of support South Ayrshire Council approved Wetherspoons licensing application for Prestwick.
"It is my opinion that if this licence is granted then premises will close due to lack of customers," said Colin Blair of Buzzworks, one of the many objectors who voiced their views on the day.
