Sick vandals target refurbished primary

POLICE are appealing for information after £1200 of damage was done to a newly refurbished school in Ayr.
On Wednesday, January 25, representatives from Heathfield Primary School came together with councillors and council education chiefs to mark the opening of the school's new £3.7 million extension. However last Saturday, February 11, unknown vandals went to the school and smashed in a series of windows and ripped up a tree causing damage estimated at £1200.
