Homes delay fury

'I FIND that absolutely appalling,' said Councillor Douglas Campbell as council officers delayed progress on 130 houses being built in Lochside.

Councillor Campbell, responsible for housing issues within the council, was shocked when he received a phone call from council officers the night before Tuesday, February 14's meeting of South Ayrshire Council's leadership panel informing him they wanted to delay the paper by a month to satisfy council regulations.
