Leading Ayr lawyer blasts 'soft justice'

A LEADING lawyer has lambasted what he describes as Scotland's "disgrace" of a legal system for letting vicious thugs off with fiscal fines which they immediately ignore.

Graeme McKinstry is also appalled that at the same time as cases being brought to court dropped by over a third, the people employed to gain convictions on behalf of the public have been awarded huge bonuses.
