A tragic error

THE family of a lollipop woman who died after being mowed down by a school bus in front of horrified pupils last week pleaded with a court to treat the driver with "sensitivity".

However, jailing Dodds of Troon employee, David Dunsmuir, at Ayr Sheriff Court, Sheriff John Montgomery said that he could not take account of such "sentiments".
