Skinny Minnies will be fighting fight for the Commandoes
A FAMILY fun day and fitness event raising money for Cash for Commandoes comes to Troon on Sunday.
At Marr Rugby Club between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, June 17, a fun day will be held in aid of Cash for Commandoes organised by the Skinny Minnies fitness group who are attempting to collectively lose 90 stone in eight months.
Skinny Minnies was started by Ayr woman and former Queen Margaret Academy pupil Natalie Wiggins and her friend Lorraine Ferguson, from Troon, in January of this year to raise money for Cash for Commandoes a charity set up by Natalie's husband Paul-Scott, another ex-QMA pupil, and Royal Marine who founded the charity after seeing his friends lose limbs while serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
