THE Ayr Advertiser Series App has gone live today, Tuesday, August 28, for the very first time as South Ayrshire from Girvan to Troon bathes in glorious sunshine.

Apart from planned roadworks there are no problems on the trains or the roads this morning, and if we hear anything we will report it here first.

Keep an eye on the app today to see what's in this week's paper - from concerns about children's safety on school transport to Paralympic brothers from Troon, and featured exclusively in this week's Ayr Advertiser Series are the new Newton Primary P1 to P7 class pictures.
