Ayrshire streets 'are safer' confirm falling crime rates
TWO AYRSHIRE politicians haves this week praised Strathclyde Police after official reports show falling crime rates in Ayrshire.
The figures released by the Ayrshire Division show a 43 per cent reduction over the last year in violence and violent crimes, with robberies falling by 48 per cent, a 22 per cent reduction in complaints about youth disorder and a 23 per cent drop in reported incidents of street drinking.
