Police hunt after latest armed raid

CUSTOMERS and staff were left traumatised after the FIFTH armed robbery of a South Ayrshire bookies.

Police are investigating the raid on Prestwick's William Hill Bookmakers around 6pm on Thursday, February 11.

It is the latest in a series of armed robberies targeting South Ayrshire bookies.

During this incident a man entered the Main Street store and threatened two members of staff and three customers with a knife before making off through a back door.
